The
Wichita Mountains are an old and unique feature on the Great Plains of North
America. They are one of the few rises in the prairie from Mexico to Canada.
These pictures are just a few of the sights you will see on your epic journey
through the mountains. The Spanish named them the Sierra Jumanos, here in Southwest
Oklahoma, we just call them the Wichitas, and home. Enjoy!
